As part of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 premises with 5 or more employees must have a written fire risk assessment. If your premises has a fire system then it must be maintained by an external service company.
Vital provide an installation and maintenance service for your fire detection systems. We hope you never need to use it, but knowing that Vital have serviced your alarm system may help you sleep at night.
Our technicians carry out full maintenance inspections in accordance with British Standards, confirming the status of your system, and record all relevant details in your Fire Log Book.
As part of our services we can also maintain your emergency lighting system to ensure that you meet your requirements under current legislation this includes a duration test and a full discharge test to meet BS 5266-1:2016.
